Father God,
Help Me
Lord, I thank you for this day. Help me each and everyday to be the mother that you have called me to be. Give me the grace to be patient, nurturing, loving and caring towards my children. Assist me Holy Spirit in raising godly children who will fulfill their destiny and serve you all the days of their life. Teach me to correct them firmly yet gently when they need correction. Allow me to move past my mistakes and not to dwell on them. I know that your strength is made perfect in my weakness.
Give me strength, oh Lord, to make it through the tough days. Reassure me Father that I am not alone because you are with me. Comfort me when the tears fill my eyes and empower me to keep going when I feel defeated. Take my hand and lead me in the way I should go.
Protect My Children
Hear my motherhood prayer, oh God, and cover my children. I plead the blood of Jesus over them. Protect my children from harm or danger in this world. Teach them, Holy Spirit, to guard their hearts and minds from evil. I pray that my children will grow healthy and strong. Watch over them as they sleep at night and give them visions and dreams. Father, I pray that they will have godly influences in their lives and be a godly influence in the lives of others.
Plant within the heart of my children a desire to be godly. Help them to obey their parents that it will go well with them and their days upon the Earth would be long. Fill them Lord with Your Holy Spirit. Stir up the spiritual gifts on the inside of them, and empower them to walk in those gifts from their youth.
Help Other Mothers
Lastly Father God, I pray for all the other mothers out there who devote their lives to nurturing their children. Strengthen them as they spread love and kindness in their families and communities. I ask that you bless them with strength, patience, and wisdom as they navigate the challenges of motherhood.
Fill them with your peace and comfort as they care for their children and loved ones. Grant them joy in the small moments and the ability to see your hand in every aspect of their lives. Help them to trust in your plan for their families and to find hope in times of uncertainty.
