Modest dressing is both elegant and beautiful. If done right, a woman who dresses modestly immediately exudes class and femininity. Like I mentioned before, we are queens aren’t we? Now, we don’t want to be all legalistic and “judge-y” (especially towards others). We are spiritually free after all. However, when the aim is modest dressing, here are three general guidelines to keep in mind:
- Not too tight
- Not too short
- Not too revealing
Below I have included three staple modest dressing pieces I live by that can help you achieve these goals. Read to the end to get my discount code!
1. Long Cardigans
Cardigans are an absolute must in a modest wardrobe, and I have many of them. They can be dressed up or down, and they are perfect when you feel the need to cover up an outfit that may be a little more fitted. Below are some examples.
2. Dresses
Long flowy dresses are perfect for modest dressing. You can even pair them with one of your cute cardigans! Long sleeve dresses in the colder months still look fashionable while short and sleeveless dresses are perfect for the heat. If you are feeling a little self-conscious, try not to go too skinny on the straps of those sleeveless dresses. Below are two examples.
3. Tunic Tops
When you are not in the mood for a dress, tunic tops are the next best thing! I love these tops with jeans and, if it’s long enough, leggings. All the same guidelines for dress sleeves apply to tunics also. Don’t forget to properly accessorize your top to dress it up or down. See the examples below.
The Modest Fitting and Modest Pop are two other really great modest dressing websites that you can order from. If you visit Modest Pop, YOU GET 10% OFF WITH MY CODE: PRINCESS10!! Check them out and tell them Divinely Woman sent you!
